The Stag and The Horse

A horse and a stag were out for a stroll one day. “I am the

forest’s king. I command respect from all creatures, stated

the stag. I don’t have a fear of you. I can outrun you, the

Horse declared.

“Let’s run a race then.” The Stag exudes a sense of will to

triumph. So they held a race, which the Horse of course

handily won.

I want to see you in another race. This time, we’ll be

running upward. Stag was enraged.

So they created a new race. This time, the Stag easily

prevailed.

“I’ll give you one more race, please. This time, we’ll sprint

downward. The horse was furious.

There was one more race, then. The Horse triumphed

handily this time.
