27th YBAM Biennial National Convention

enerables, family members of the Young Buddhist Association of Malaysia (YBAM), delegates
V and observers, and Brothers and Sisters in the Dharma, Sukhi Hontu!
Today, we gather here to organise the solemn 27th YBAM Biennial National Convention. On behalf of
the organising committee, I would like to extend my warmest welcome and deepest gratitude to everyone..
Thank you for your thoughtful care and active participation, and for your continuous support and dedication
to YBAM.
Over these few days, as we stand at a new starting point, we reflect on the past and look forward to
the future. Since its establishment, YBAM has upheld the spirit of the Buddha, striving to shape a society
imbued with wisdom, compassion, and gratitude. The progress YBAM has made today is due to generations
of dedicated Buddhist youths who, moved by compassion and the desire to uphold the Dharma, have
contributed selflessly, step by step. Although there have been moments of hardship and tears along the way,
it is precisely through these experiences that each generation of youth has grown and flourished.
Now, as we are fortunate to be part of this community of Buddhist youth, we should all cherish this
opportunity. Let us learn with humility, contribute with dedication, and put the Dharma into practice in our
daily lives—integrating it into our families and communities.
I sincerely hope that all delegates and observers will cherish this opportunity to share wisdom, learn
from one another, and progress together.
Finally, may everyone, guided by the Buddha’s teachings, always uphold a compassionate heart,
cultivate wisdom, and strive for the benefit of ourselves and others. May this convention bring us all greater
blessings, wisdom, and accomplishments.
Thank you.
