YBAM paid a Chinese New Year courtesy visit to
Kwong Wah Yit Poh, Nan Yang Siang Pau, China
Press, and Sin Chew Daily offices, aiming to foster
closer relationship between YBAM and the media as
well as to promote better understanding between
YBAM and the press. The National Council members
held dialogues with the press representatives and
introduced the current year’s activities of YBAM.
In conjunction with the 50th anniversary of the
establishment of Buddhist Digest, YBAM plans to
organise a celebration at the end of this year. YBAM
is also committed to promoting the publication
as a national reading material and plans to add an
