The Google Form petition list includes many Malaysian Buddhist monks and lay
practitioners(https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1DJ4W4T_klfOZkICIR16iQ0YgNtxMyh
mUzOEvbzm2IiI/viewform?edit_requested=true). These monks and lay practitioners
did not participate in the petition; instead, their names were misused and falsely
listed in the form.
Although the Google Form explicitly states that "Submitting this form using
another person's identity is illegal and carries criminal liability", YBAM urges the
administrator to review the current verification mechanism to ensure the
authenticity of signatories and prevent the misuse of names, which may lead to legal
risks. YBAM also calls on the administrators to remove the name of Malaysian
Buddhist monks and lay practitioners within 24 hours to prevent the initiation of
legal action.
