                                  A Living Experience

                                 The Buddha’s advice
                          Meditation, a Sense of Tranquility

Effort alone is not sufficient. It needs to be skillful which means
directing one’s energy just at the right places and sustaining it
there until its task is completed. Skillful effort neither hinders nor
disturbs; instead it produces the peace of tranquility.

One must have a clear understanding of the goal of meditation
which is the silence, stillness and clarity of mind. If one can
understand that goal, then the place to apply one’s effort and the
means to achieve that goal become very clear.
