Longmen Grottoes began in the Northern Wei Dynasty to the Northern Song
Dynasty, and the carving was continued for 400 years. Presently there are
2345 caves, more than 2680 inscriptions, 70 stupas, and 100000 statues.
Fengxian Temple, formerly known as Lushena, is located in the south of
Xishan Mountain, Longmen Grottoes, Luoyang City. The group of statues of
Fengxian Temple is the most exquisite in the entire gantry, especially the
天王⼿托宝塔 Heavenly Kings
(中国 China: 1993) 17.14m high of Vairocana Buddha.
