1. Course Aims: This course enables the students to:
1. Understand the classifications and identification of different plants on the cellular, tissues and
entire levels.
2. Gain the basic knowledge of plant minerals, enzymes, photosynthesis, respiration, and
protein synthesis that help them to understand plant secondary metabolism in addition to
the basic concept of pharmacognosy.
