Plants produce small parts called seeds from which new plants grow.

Seed

Non-living things cannot have babies. A chair cannot have babies

Activity

Wet some cotton. Put a few bean seeds and small 2
stones in the cotton.
Keep the cotton wet. After 2-3 days you will observe
new plants coming out of the seeds.
Does anything come out of the stones? 3
