Dear Friends,

Since its creation in 2013, Sportunity has been making sport accessible to those
facing life's toughest challenges – refugees and migrants, individuals rebuilding

their lives far from home. Over the years, we have seen how sport helps people
adapt, gain confidence, and become part of a new community.

In 2024, amidst growing global trends of isolationism, radicalisation, and political

short- termism – which created additional challenges for displaced communities –
it became even more crucial for us to stay committed to our mission. We strived to
make 2024 the year of growth, inclusion, and transformation – introducing new
programmes, expanding training opportunities, and reinforcing sport's role as a

bridge to integration, resilience, and empowerment in the Grand Duchy
                                                   of Luxembourg.

We also embarked, for the first time, on a project of the European scale, joining
forces with colleagues from other countries to exchange experiences, and

brought a totally new dimension – of climate awareness and sustainability – to the
sports and educational programmes we run in Luxembourg. It has been a vibrant
year, and we are proud of what we have achieved together.

Sportunity is, and has always been, more than just about training. We are creating
a space where people find support, build connections, and move forward.
Together with our participants, volunteers, and partners, we will continue using
sport to change lives. Thank you for being part of this exciting and

                                                 meaningful journey.

          Eryn Zander,
          Founder & President, Sportunity a.s.b.l.
