Amanda Page The southern rock n soul
style really developed from playing with my
bandmates over the years! The original
Almost Angels members are three siblings,
Sherry Peterson-Tenille (bass), Randall Scott
Peterson (guitar), and Shawn Peterson
(drums). They come from Milledgeville,GA,
which is not far from Southern Rock hub
Macon. I'm from another southern rock
area,Spartanburg, SC. We all grew up
listening to different styles and their
influences mixed with mine to create our
unique sound. It was further nailed down
when I started writing in the amazing Muscle
Shoals area, which has produced so muck
rock, blues, soul, and funk music!

creative background is impressive. How do
your experiences in film and songwriting
influence one another?

pretty naturally to me, which I believe helps POZE MAGAZINE
me to put myself into whatever the tone of a
song is. The lyrics have to be honest for
people to relate, the music has to fit the feel,

hard work is being appreciated! It's really cool when it's recognized by

like Artimus Pyle and Tim Lawter. How did such an important part of your journey?
