                                                                         Fans  gathered  at  the  beautiful  Wolf  Trap
                                                                         National  Park,  the  only  National  Park  for
                                                                         the  performing  arts,  to  enjoy  a  three-act
                                                                         evening  of  live  music  on  a  warm  Friday
                                                                         evening.


                                                                         Beginning  the  night  with  Tim  Heidecker,
                                                                         audience  members  entered  the  venue  to
                                                                         the sound of country-esque folk music. The
                                                                         relatively low energy crowd was persuaded
                                                                         by Tim to do the wave across the lawn and
                                                                         get  their  enthusiasm  up.  His  lighthearted
                                                                         spirited performance was enhanced by the
                                                                         friendly  chemistry  between  the  band
                                                                         members.

                                                                         Snail Mail took the stage and presented the
                                                                         audience with a collection of mellow tunes
                                                                         to  match  the  subdued  audience  and  band
                                                                         energy.  With  a  strong  voice,  main  singer
                                                                         Lindsey Erin Jordan impressed the growing
                                                                         audience and was a harmonious addition to
                                                                         the lineup.

                                                                         Waxahatchee debuted and the fans came to
                                                                         life. The seats were now filled, and groups
                                                                         of  concertgoers  danced  together  in  their
                                                                         spots,  accompanied  by  a  few  dancing  in
                                                                         their seats scattered throughout the venue.
                                                                         Audience  members  were  treated  with  a
                                                                         lengthy  setlist  to  finish  off  the  evening.
                                                                         Singer Kathryn Crutchfield even performed
                                                                         a song she wrote backstage at the Wolf Trap
                                                                         while on tour with Jason Isbell and Sheryl
                          WAXAHATCHEE                                    Crow, titled “Right Back to It”.

                                                                         crowd of fans, bringing together an unlikely
                                                                         community on the outskirts of DC.
