I was born and raised in the lush green beauty of
Assam, India, where my love for performance first took
root. In 2023, I made a bold leap, moving to Los
Angeles, California, to expand my career in acting
and music. Since then, the journey has been a
whirlwind of creativity, growth, and transformation.
Graduating from the New York Film Academy in Los
Angeles with a degree in Acting for Film was just the
beginning. I’ve since had the privilege of working on a
wide range of projects from short films and TV shows
to commercials and feature films. Each role has been
a new world to explore, and a new layer of myself to
uncover. I’m thrilled to be part of Gunsmart Nation, an
upcoming television series based on the book by
I’m immersed in a powerful documentary Dwight B. Bradford, where I play a vital supporting
feature film, currently in post-production role. It’s set to stream on a major platform, and I’m
excited to bring this powerful story to life.
Beyond the camera, music has always been my soul’s
expression. Under the stage name Synicah, I made my musical
debut in 2018 with my single Scars. Since then, my sound has
evolved, weaving together my roots and my vision. I gained
wide recognition after performing the title track for the
Assamese blockbuster film Ratnakar, followed by more
original singles like Warrior, IDC, Rollercoaster, and Sassy. I’ve
also had the opportunity to collaborate on songs like
Nayana, Emuthi Xopun, Ei Prithibi, and Sorsa, which were all
creatively fulfilling experiences. Watching my music connect
with listeners, especially seeing one of the music videos I was
part of cross 105 million views, reminds me why I create.
My musical journey has also included writing and performing
for major Assamese films like Dr. Bezbaruah 2 and Joddha,
blending my love for songwriting and singing with cinematic
storytelling. Whether it’s composing a melody, writing lyrics, or
performing in music videos, I find joy in every beat, every
note.
To date, I’ve worked on several short films and commercials.
I’ve appeared in multiple music videos and contributed vocals
to Assamese feature films. These opportunities have pushed
me artistically and expanded my understanding of the craft.
A major milestone in my artistic journey came in 2025 when I
was invited to be a part of the prestigious Crunchyroll Anime
Awards as a live Hindi dubbing artist. It was an electrifying
experience, one that allowed me to bridge cultures through
voice and storytelling on an international stage.
