Her journey began in Eastern North Carolina, a rural town, where her father's vinyl collection ignited her passion
for music. Watching her father and brother play the guitars, Angela was drawn to the world of melody and lyrics,
leading to her featuring as a backing vocalist in her brother's band. From there, Angela started performing in New
York, where she toured with her Italo-Disco band, “Dust”. She released two albums through Berlin’s Mannequin
label and Low Life Inc. marking her early success. A one-way ticket to Europe followed the band's second tour,
leading to an artist residency in Berlin in 2013.

By 2014, Angela embarked on a solo venture during an
artist residency at the Berlin art collective, Neu West,
shaping her first solo EP. This led her to explore new
collaborative territories, including work on TV/film and
scores with Dirk Dresselhaus of Schneider TM.
Angela was also performing and writing songs in a duo
project called ‘Waking Dreams’ with fellow musician,
Jason Letkiewicz. Their debut album ‘Askew’ was released
in June 2020 followed by their sophomore album “Sliding
Lines” in April 2023.
Not one to rest, Angela went on a
cross-country road trip during the
pandemic, which led to her
explosively charged pop-soul single,
"The Illusion," released almost a year
after her debut album with Waking
Dreams. Angela's versatile
voice shone through, even in
challenging times.
