This house show fostered an intimate
environment and communal audience,
with a crowd there in support of each
performance. The attendees were friendly,
supportive, and respectful throughout the
night, a refreshing experience compared
to the often-chaotic modern concert
scene.
Her hit song and debut release, Moving in
Place, was a fan favorite amidst the early
half of the performance.

The multi-act setlist had the evening
moving quickly. Despite only having a few
released songs, Cokeland prepared a
lengthy mix of covers and originals that
satiated the crowd and had them singing
along.

Shauna Dean Cokeland (casually known as
SDC) is a Maryland native turned TikTok star,
sharing her art to over half a million
followers. She got her start in 2022 after
releasing her song titled “Moving in Place”
and has been periodically releasing more
music since.
