Abby Holliday has emerged as one of the most promising
new voices in indie pop and alternative music. Her sound is
an emotional blend of introspective lyrics, catchy melodies,
and a grounded authenticity that resonates deeply with
listeners. With influences from folk, rock, and pop, her music
invites audiences to explore a range of emotions, from
heartbreak to hope, all wrapped in a refreshing honesty.

A Style That Speaks to the Heart

Holliday’s music is often characterized by thoughtful lyrics
that touch on personal struggles, relationships, and self-
discovery. Her songs carry a rawness and sincerity that make
her stand out in a crowded industry. Rather than hiding

such intimacy with the audience, during one of her shows
that I attended on September 18, 2024, Abby and her band
literally went unplugged, made their way into the audience,
and proceeded to perform “in the round“ with nothing more
than Their voices, with no microphones or affects, and
unplugged acoustic guitar. Her voice, often described as
soulful and evocative, draws listeners into each track along
with the atmosphere created during a live show, makes
