{PM} Your music reflects a lot of your outdoor lifestyle. How do
your personal experiences shape the music you create?
For me, personal experience is a critical foundation piece to
being able to bring the music to life. I believe that we can find
a piece of ourselves in every song. Finding that connection
point to the story and message can very much shape how I
               approach a song.

{PM} You've described "Crank It Up" as a rallying cry. What
message do you hope your fans take away from this song?

I hope “Crank It Up” reminds listeners to not settle for the plain,
day to day, routine stuff. Life is worth living for so many
reasons, and we all have something unique that lights us up.
The message of this song is about getting out in the world,
connecting with what makes you feel alive, and turning that up
               full throttle.

{PM} You have a devoted fan base known as the
"Winelanders." What do you think draws your fans to your music
               and live performances?

I like to think that what draws people to the work I do is the
effort that is constantly made to bring strong music and
experiences to them. Music is the calling card, the live
performances are so energetic and fun filled you want to stay,
and then fans get to realize what an amazing community the
Winelanders are and find a unique place for them to connect
with others. PHOTOGRAPHY CREDIT: PHYLLIS LANE

{PM}You've had the opportunity to perform the National
Anthem at several high-profile events. How do these
experiences impact you as an artist?
I find these moments to be extremely humbling. What I love
about the National Anthem performances is that it is never
about “you” as an artist. When I perform the anthem, my job is
to pay respect and honor to a song that carries so much
meaning to everyone in the audience. I have found some of
the most rewarding moments in my career after performing an
anthem and watching the impact that my performance had for
those who carry a love for our nation in their hearts.
