MARIE-CLAIRE GIRAUD
Marie-Claire made her off- Broadway debut starring in the
Tennessee Williams one act play Hello From Bertha in 2022 .
She will be returning to Broadway February 2025.
A fixture on the New York City Jazz music scene, Marie-Claire is
also known for her one-woman show, “The Great American
Songbook at the Movies,” at Parker’s at Thompson Central Park,
where she often collaborated with acclaimed pianist Lee
Musiker and other talented musicians. Now she brings this
concept to life performing alongside pianists Jon Davis and
Matt Baker at the Scarlet Jazz Lounge, owned by Michael
Imperioli of ‘The Sopranos’ fame, and his wife, Victoria.
Currently, Marie-Claire is recording her upcoming jazz album
titled Caravan with Plaid Dog Recording, set to be released in
Spring 2025.
Marie-Claire has received the NYC Caribbean Heritage Award
and recognition for her contributions to the community from
the National Association for the Advancement of Colored
People (NAACP). Additionally, she has been honored with
citations from the New York State Senate, New York City Hall,
and the United Nations.
June 2024 recognised Marie-Claire as a winner in the Jazz
category at the 2024 InterContinental Music Awards (ICMA).
She also won the Silver Prize at the Amadeus International
Music Awards in August 2024. Marie-Claire will be making her
54 Below debut with her show, “ from Harlem to Hollywood, the
songs of Duke Ellington and Irving Berlin in April 2025.
Marie-Claire- a forever student, continues to hone her craft,
while touching the hearts and souls of Jazz lovers around the
