Maternal Minds Counseling is a collective of mental health therapists and other wellness providers who are passionate about providing a collaborative model of care for women, partners and families. We specialize in offering services to support clients as they navigate issues from preconception through pregnancy, postpartum and parenting. Owner Carly Kramer has called Las Vegas home for 13 years with Maternal Minds Counseling has been serving the Las Vegas Community for over 3 years.
Tell us about how your business got started. What inspired you to start your business? "Carly Kramer, therapist and founder, realized through personal experience, while pregnant with her daughter, that there is a significant need for qualified providers who specialize in perinatal mental health. After struggling throughout her pregnancy and postpartum, she decided to create a private practice where women and their families can receive the mental health support they need during this important time."
What is one thing you would like your customers to know about you and your business? "Maternal Minds Counseling specializes in treating women and families but we also treat a wide variety of other mental health concerns. We have graduate-level student therapists from various Universities who see clients at a reduced cost. They provide counseling services to children, adults, couples, and families in addition to weekly support groups."
Any exciting plans for the future you would like to share with our readers?
"Maternal Minds Counseling is always evolving and adding new services and offerings to
support our clients. We have several support groups running and are always looking to add more. Our therapists are constantly learning new modalities and techniques to support our clients like EMDR, Brainspotting, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Parts and Memory Therapy, and more. What’s your favorite part about being a business owner? "Carly’s favorite part about owning Maternal Minds Counseling is knowing she has created a safe place for women and families to get the mental health support they need. She has worked hard to hire and build a team of competent therapists with various specializations, training and talents to support the Las Vegas community."
