The MDX is equipped with Acura’s acclaimed
Super Handling All-Wheel Drive™ (SH-AWD™),
which progressively distributes optimum torque
not only between the front and rear axles, but
also between the left and right rear wheels.
The system is complemented by Agile Handling
Assist which employs the brake system to
individually brake either the left or right front
wheel to reduce YAW delay (the period between
the steering wheel input and the rotation of the
body) to improve corner traceability and balance,
without scarifying cornering speed.
