6．300 mining enterprises gather in Baotou City to launch the
industrial and mining business
In August 2020, TIAA held the 1st Conference of Automatic Driving and Safety Production Integration Application in
Industrial and Mining Field in Baotou, Inner Mongolia. More than 300 representatives from Chinese backbone
mining enterprises in coal, steel, building materials, non-ferrous metals and more than 100 representatives from
vehicles, engineering machinery, electronic information, communications, artificial intelligence attended the event.
At the conference, the Mine Intelligent Transportation and Collaborative Work Committee (TIAA-S61) was formally
founded to establish a complete industrial ecology through horizontal resource integration and vertical market
cooperation. It will also promote the implementation and application of advanced technologies and products such
as autonomous driving in the mining field, as well as the promotion of safe production, transformation and
upgrading in the industrial sector.
