Behaviour Management Strategies:

Strategy 1 1. If it is a single short conversation, it may be best to ignore it.

2. Stop talking so that they become aware for themselves that they

are causing a distraction.

3. Ask one of them a question about the topic to help draw them

back into the group.

Strategy 2 z Try to strike the right balance between allowing some fun and

achieving the purpose of the training.

z That was really funny, Jack; however, let’s move on now with the

training as we have a lot to cover.
