Lombok . . .

Lombok, interes ng not only because of the transi on between Indonesia and
Australia Asia fauna and flora–zones or what is known as the Wallace line, but
due to other cultures, and various elements of en ces the mixing of culture itself.

Lombok known with “the beau ful princess who falls asleep“. visitors from
Europe described it as “the village of Prime young and sweet” if viewed from
the corner of the eyes are gli ering. In a way, it looks like the Bali Lombok 50
years ago. This is due to that at the end of the 17th century many people
is come from Balinese to lombok and each has its own culture and ethnic heritage.
Lombok culture strongly influenced by elements from outside, especially from
the Balinese, Javanese (majapahit) and Goa. ornate pa erns of foreign
elements include, among others, Chinese ceramics from the late period of the
Ming Dynasty.
