One thing most people don’t know about me is that I am actually from Ukraine. Originally, I am from the city of Ternopil western Ukraine but moved over to the UK when I was three after my dad landed a job as a researcher at Durham University. I get a lot of my motivation and drive for engineering from my grandad, who was a head engineer at a power station in Ternopil.
In April following an appeal from Derwentside College we had asked for donations to help support people effected by the
Ukrainian crisis.
The response for this was
superb so thank you all again for that. It is important to remember that the situation in Ukraine is still very prominent
and donations to charities such as British Red
Cross and UNICEF are still needed in
order to help support Ukrainian refugees effected by the
conflict.
