With about five minutes to the break Borini stormed through the left of their box and looked likely to score till Kompany got in a late tackle and it went for a corner. We were defending well, tackling with some bite and at the break it remained 1-0 and things were looking good.
There were no changes as we kicked off again but I was counting down the minutes. Mannone had already made a few good saves in the first half and he made another great one from a low Silva shot about five minutes in. Next thing a piledriver from Ki had Pantelimon tipping it over for a corner. Within two minutes we lost the game but there was little that we could have done about it.
