Investing in the town centre
We successfully secured over £100 million of mostly government funding to invest in Swindon’s town centre. While most of the land and buildings are owned by private companies, we are upgrading the public realm, transport links and refurbishing Swindon’s heritage buildings.
This will help to increase land values and stimulate additional investment in new amenities, offices and homes in the town centre.
