 SPICEMAS CARNIVAL
MAKES A COMBACK
The tri-island state of Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique has welcomed back its Spicemas carnival this summer after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic.
The colourful Spicemas carnival features pageantry linked to the country’s African, French, British and Caribbean heritage, with traditional mas’ bands and masqueraders in full costume.
PURE GRENADA – THREE ISLANDS; ONE UNIQUE CARIBBEAN GEM
The tri-island destination of Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique is the Caribbean you’ve been searching for.
This December, Grenada will be hosting the Grenada Rugby World 􏰀s tournament for the very first time. The Grenada Tourism Authority has partnered with Club Rugby 7s, to bring more than 30 of the world’s best men and women’s Club Rugby 7s teams to the island.
The 􏰁􏰂􏰁􏰁 Grenada Rugby World 􏰀s was officially launched at the National Stadium, where Grenada’s Cricket Stadium was announced as the new home of the longest running Club Rugby 7s tournament in the region.
Set to take place from 2nd - 3rd December, teams from Canada, USA, England, Wales, Scotland, France and
Fiji have already indicated their intention to travel to Grenada to compete this year.

“Barbados is currently Elegant’s top performing destination and year-to-date bookings are trending 9.5% up in terms
of revenue and 3% up in actual passenger numbers versus 2019,” said Elegant’s Head of Product Caroline Beckett.
According to Beckett, there are a variety of reasons why Barbados is popular with British tourists, including the island’s world-class immersive experiences, visitor safety, and culinary scene.
Come explore natural wonders, relax and rejuvenate, embark on an adventure, try amazingly flavourful cuisine, connect with local communities and so much more. With three islands at your fingertips, the possibilities are endless.
From the world’s first Underwater Sculpture Park to cascading waterfalls nestled in bountiful rainforests, pristine beaches to organic chocolate factories and historic rum factories, your days will be full of fun in Pure Grenada.
Indulge in the flavours of the Spice Isle and discover why Grenada is the world’s first Culinary Capital. Easily accessible by sea and air, head over to Carriacou and Petite Martinique for a unique, off-the-beaten path experience infused with rich ancestral traditions such as traditional boat building, stringband music and village maroons.
Launched earlier this year, Grenada’s voluntourism initiative helps travellers foster meaningful connections in the spaces they visit. Voluntourism opportunities include coral reef restoration, turtle research, lionfish hunts and beach clean- ups and community learn-to-swim classes. Visitors can help at organic farms and an animal shelter and donate resources for educational, health and cultural programmes.
There’s something for everyone, including a place to stay. Grenada boasts a variety of accommodation options to suit every budget
and preference – luxury resorts, private villas, family-friendly hotels and the recently launched Simple Stays collection of small properties.
