  SANDALS DUNN’S RIVER UNDERGOES REFURBISHMENT
Sandals Resorts International has announced that bookings are now open for the all-new Sandals Dunn’s River resort from 24th May 2023.
Sandals Dunn’s River is to make its return to the Sandals portfolio next year, after a full redesign and renovation. The resort will feature brand-new Tufa SkyPool Butler Suites, which will feature glass panels spanning the length of oceanfront balconies and exclusive restaurant and bar concepts.
Adam Stewart, Executive Chairman of Sandals Resorts International, says: “This was an extraordinary project and the last one I worked on with our founder and my late father as his final masterpiece.
“He handpicked this location more than three decades ago for its white-sand coastline, cool breeze, azure waters and its close proximity to the destination’s archetypical falls. It will not only serve to breathe new excitement into a corner of Jamaica loved and cherished by so many, but it will set a new standard of luxury for tourism right here in our backyard with a next-generation resort worthy of its nostalgic past.”
ENJOY A TASTE OF THE CARIBBEAN WITH CELEBRITY CRUISES

Alternatively, Celebrity Edge will set sail for the Ultimate Southern Caribbean cruise, a 10-night sailing to Philipsburg, St. Maarten; Castries, St. Lucia; Bridgetown, Barbados;
St. John’s, Antigua & St Kitts & Nevis.
    Celebrity guests can experience Caribbean cuisines and seafood, where the fresh catches of the day will feature on the local menus as well as a selection of food and drink- focused excursions.
     NEW RESTAURANTS NOW OPEN IN BARBADOS
Visitors heading to Barbados this summer will find a number of newly opened restaurants.
Options include farm-to-table concepts such as Local and Co. and Peg Farm; beach-front experiences like Sea Shed, Outpost 1.11 and Deia Beach; as well as fine-dining options including Baia and QP Bistro featuring Michelin-star chef Antonio Mellino.
Minister of Tourism and International Transport, Sen. The Hon. Lisa Cummins commented: “Barbados is the place to be this summer with a wealth of activity on offer for visitors. Whether you’re a solo traveller, multigenerational family, or even a group of friends seeking an unforgettable holiday, there’s so much to enjoy in Barbados.
“Anyone who hasn’t been to Barbados in the past two years has a lot of food to catch up on. Most importantly, we see this development of our restaurant landscape as a testament to why we are the culinary capital of the Caribbean.”
