WYNDHAM HOTELS & RESORTS AND PALLADIUM HOTEL GROUP SIGN STRATEGIC ALLIANCE
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and Palladium Hotel Group have announced a commercial alliance that will add more than 6,500 rooms to Wyndham’s Registry Collection.
The 14 all-inclusive TRS Hotels and Grand Palladium Hotels & Resorts managed by Palladium Hotel Group that are located throughout Mexico, Dominican Republic, Jamaica and Brazil will join Wyndham’s portfolio.
Other properties to become part of the Registry Collection this summer will include the Grand Palladium Palace Resort Spa & Casino, Grand Palladium Punta Cana Resort & Spa and Grand Palladium Bávaro Suites Resort & Spa. Located on the famous Bávaro Beach, in Punta Cana, the 3-property resort features palm tree plantations and more than a half mile stretch of white sand beach.
The Grand Palladium Jamaica Resort & Spa and Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton Resort & Spa on the Northeast coast of Jamaica, between Lucea and Montego Bay will also join the portfolio.
ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA EXTEND SUMMER SEASON
Summer is no longer the low season in Antigua and Barbuda as the twin-island nation anticipates arrivals will continue to rise this year.
Following a record-breaking summer in 2021 which saw visitor levels surpass pre-Covid levels, many of the islands’ hotels have extended their opening season to encompass the summer months with a number of tour operators announcing a variety of special offers to encourage visitors to stay for longer.
Visitors can choose from a number of activities, including kayaking through a mangrove lagoon to a secluded beach on a four-hour Lagoon Adventure tour with South
Coast Horizon.
Following the kayak tour, guests can then hike to Goat Head Hill for panoramic views of neighbouring islands and the southside of Antigua before enjoying a Caribbean lunch. This summer, South Coast Horizon is offering a Summer Special rate of £􏰀􏰁 per person (drinks included).
NEW SUITES FOR CASA DE CAMPO RESORT
Casa de Campo Resort & Villas in the Dominican Republic has unveiled its new Premier Club which will add 58 new rooms and suites from December 2022.
The Premier Club will include 26 Premier Junior Suites (King Sized Beds), 􏰀􏰂 Premier Junior Suites (Double Beds),
four Premier One Bedroom Suites and one Premier Presidential Suite.
Each suite will offffer luxurious amenities, including an exclusive Premier Club golf cart for traveling throughout the 7,000- acre resort, private concierge service and nightly turndown service and a customised pillow and aroma-
therapy menu.
