CEREMONY FOR NEW RCI SHIP
A keel-laying ceremony for Royal Caribbean International’s upcoming ship, Utopia of the Seas, recently took place at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France.
The event celebrated the official start of Utopia’s physical construction ahead of the ship’s launch in spring 2024.
As the second Royal Caribbean ship that will
be powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG), Utopia will be equipped with
new generation dual-
fuel engines as well as a number of environmentally friendly initiatives including shore power connection to waste heat recovery systems.
WINDSTAR CRUISES OFFERS
UP TO $1,000 ONBOARD CREDIT
Windstar Cruises has announced that it is offering up to $1,000 onboard credit per stateroom on all bookings made before 15th October 2022, valid on all departures through 2024.
Depending on the category of stateroom or suite booked, sailings of up to 13 days will qualify for an onboard credit of between $200 and $400 per stateroom while sailings of 14 days or longer qualify for an onboard credit of between $400 and $1,000 per stateroom.
The per stateroom onboard credit is based on two people sharing. Solo travellers will receive 50% of the onboard credit.
