     Figure 6-35. To taper the splice, lay out four yarns of 6 x 19 or 7 x 19 wire or two yarns of 6 x 7 or 7 x 7 wire.
                  Be sure that the yarns will not be caught between the standing part and the strand they are taken from, or a
                  lump will develop on the next tuck. Bundle the separated pieces out of the way, then tuck in the six remaining
                  partial strands once more.

                   out two more yarns of 6 x 7 or 7 x 7 wire. Tuck each remainder once more. Back out the fiber heart of the wire
