President, Rotary of Calcutta New Town (Dist. 3291)
Madhumita completed her Masters in Economics from Bangalore University.
After serving in Multinational Companies and having work experience in
various cities of India, she went on to start her own business in Kolkata.
She joined Rotary in 2016 and became a President in 2021 of the Rotary Club
Of Calcutta New Town.
In the Companies that she worked, She mostly headed Projects involving
Women especially the housewives and showed them the way for promoting
Products and becoming self -sufficient by working from Home.
She is also associated with an Organisation who plant fruit tree saplings on
behalf of BPL Families and Marginal Farmers thereby helping them with a
sustainable livelihood.
She is the Mother of a 20year old daughter.
