Dear Friends,
It gives me immense pleasure to connect with you on the occasion of launch of our inhouse magazine WOW.
UBI 1 continues its growth trajectory through creating new benchmarks from the start of this FY and is poised to
reach higher milestone as we close the FY.
Channel has registered 34% YOY growth with all 3 zones are on their growth trajectory. Circle Eastern UP and West
Bengal NE are the major contributors in this journey. and continue to be the front runners and holding SUD flag high
in their respective markets. All other circles are also on their growth journey and are poised to contribute to the
Organization’s FY 22-23 vision, in a big way.
171 MDRT have also given push to the performance & UBI 1 is looking at crossing 400 MDRT by Dec end which will be
the key driver for this month as we have large number of branches which have achieved more than 50% of MDRT
premium and case qualify for the prestigious MDRT Club. Ownership of these branches by sales leader focusing on
HNI Leads and CL Business will make these branches qualify.
A strong believe in the fact that SP Coverage is the key for Bank Branch activization and thereby achieving set
goals and ensuring a sustainable Business growth year after year has made to create more than 500 SPs during
current financial year. UBI 1 currently has 59% of SP penetration. Team is all set to take it to above 80% by this FY.
UBI 1 has also leveraged new Product launch of product “Fortune Royale” and utilized the opportunity of Bank’s
foundation Day for launch. Thanks to our Training team for Learning hour initiative and active participation in
improving the SP Coverage and training of SPs.
Channel has also shown a positive trend in Y1 Renewal with 75% of adjusted Premium. There is a marginal growth
of 3% in Y1 and 4.4% in Y2 adjusted Premium but our objective is to reach 85% by year end and effectively utilize the
persistency forum recognitions.
Although, there are few areas where we need to work as a team Our major thrust in the last 4 months will be:
• Improving operational efficiency
• Branch Activation from current level of 45% to 70%
• Y1 Persistency at 85%
• Employee retention and giving opportunity to internal talent for key positions
• Preparing the team to think big and maintaining YOY growth of 60% and increasing the bank branch
productivity and FLS productivity.
• Increasing contribution from Cross Selling
Channel is now all set to cross its last year’s Business numbers by December’22.
I am sure that with the holistic approach, zeal, energy, and passion, this team will contribute to achieve
organization’s overall objectives in a big way and will achieve higher milestones.
