Claim Intimation: The process of informing
the insurer about the occurrence of the
insured event.
Claim Settlement Ratio: The percentage of
claims an insurance company settles out of
the total received.
Co-payment: A percentage of the claim
amount that the policyholder must bear.
Compliance Risk: The risk of legal or
regulatory sanctions due to non-compliance
with laws, regulations, or standards.
