Zone a: Ahmedabad, Banglore, Chennai,
Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi and
Pune.
Zone B: Rest of India

Commercial vehicles other than vehicles covered
above:
Zone A: Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai
Zone B: All other State Capitals
Zone C: Rest of India
9. Short Period Scale: All premiums charged under
motor insurance policies are on annual basis.
Insurance for less than twelve months are granted
by charging premium on short period scales. As a
general rule these are followed by the insurers. This
is not granted for Liability Only policies.

10. No Claim Bonus: It is earned only on the Own
damage section of the Package policy covering all
classes of vehicle except Motor Trade policies.
An insured becomes entitled to NCB only at the
renewal of the policy after the expiry of the full
duration of twelve months.
