insured has to bear 25% of each claim.

Q4.a) Discuss briefly the various sections available
under Overseas Mediclaim Policy.

Ans. (i) Personal Accident - This indemnifies the insured
person if he sustains bodily injury during the covered
trip, solely and directly by accidental external violent
and visible means and becomes the sole and direct
cause of death or disablement within 12 months of
the date of injury. The limit is US$ 2,000 for death if
the insured's age is less than 16 years.

(ii) Medical expenses/repatriation Section - The
Videsh Yatra Mitra insurance pay up to the limit of
cover shown in the Schedule in total for the Insured
person in respect of covered medical expense,
reasonably and necessarily incurred outside India,
