                       Verb Tense: Simple Past Tense
Is a past tense form used to express events or actions that

occurred in the past. In Simple Past Tense, the main verb is
changed to its past form without using auxiliary verbs such
               as "did" or "had."

Examples of using Simple Past Tense in sentences are:

               - I walked to the park yesterday.
               - She cooked dinner for us last night.
               - They visited their grandparents last weekend.

in the minds of readers or listeners.

An example of using descriptive language in a sentence is:

snow, glistening under the morning sun.
                                   - Her soft, silky hair cascaded down her shoulders like a golden
                                   waterfall.

the room with warmth and comfort.
