A. Purpose of Learning Activities

After studying this module, you will gain knowledge about the types of animals and
plants in the surrounding environment.

B. Material Description

In the Neighborhood you can often find animals and plants that are well cared for by

their owners. They take care of animals and plants in their homes to keep them alive.
Animals that are usually suitable as pets are cats, dogs, birds, chickens and many more.

While the types of plants that are often treated at home are roses, jasmine, orchids and
ornamental plants. The diversity of living things is the wealth of the earth which includes

animals and plants.

1. Cat

The animal above is cat that we usually found
at home or in the surrounding environment.

Cat are meat-eating animals (carnivores), such
as mice and fish.
