COWORKING IN ITALY
Coworking arrived in Italy between 2008 and
2010, a few years later than in other European
countries and it also developed more slowly. But
today the spread is advancing rapidly. At the
beginning of 2010 there were only about ten
spaces destined for this use, which were mainly
located in northern and central Italy. In 2016 it
reached 300 active spaces. In the first months of
2018 there were over 550 coworking spaces. In
2019 the number rose to 779, despite the
pandemic period.
