The Rimini “Technical Institute

for Tourism” was founded in

1969. It is one of the 17 State

Technical Institutes for Tourism
existing in Italy and is the only one in Emilia-Romagna. The

large and bright building located by the sea has numerous

special classrooms and laboratories. The building was built as a

marine colony, at the beginning of the thirties and had

immediately become a reference point for its functionality,
capacity and location. The purposes of the construction can be

summed up in the slogan that has accompanied the colony since

its inception: “To be second to none”.
