Cycling in Rimini
Rimini offers a wide variety of routes to those who travel by bike
through its network of cycling paths (over 90 km). The cycling routes along
the coast line and in the old town go directly to the slopes of the green hills
in the charming countryside.
Cycling path Marecchia: this unsurfaced path in the green area of
Rimini (about 20 kilometers, recommended for mountain bikes) starts in
Rivabella (the diverter of Marecchia river) runs over the wooden bridge, for
pedestrian and bicycles, crossing the river and arrives into the green park
XXV Aprile which leads to the Tiberius Bridge. From here the cycling path
continues along the ancient riverbed of Marecchia up to Villa Verucchio
and through a wonderful landscape to Saiano (Sanctuary).
