THE ROY REARDON VOLUNTEER APPELLATE DEFENDER PROGRAM

The Office of the Appellate Defender’s Volunteer Appellate Defender Program (VAD) offers associates in
sponsoring law firms an opportunity to represent people experiencing poverty and convicted of felonies in
appeals to the New York State Appellate Division of the Supreme Court, First Judicial Department, under
the intensive supervision of OAD Supervising Attorneys.
