HELEN GREDD

Helen Gredd is a partner at Lankler Siffert & Wohl LLP, where her
practice focuses on representing executives and entities in high-
stakes white collar, regulatory, and complex commercial matters,
both in the U.S. and abroad. Helen’s clients have included law
firms, international corporations, CEOs, CFOs, compliance offi-
cers, lawyers, accountants, bankers, portfolio managers, analysts,
traders, and other executives in a wide variety of industries.

Helen has successfully defended clients in investigations and actions brought by the Department of
Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, the
Federal Reserve Board Division of Banking Supervision and Regulation, the Financial Industry Regulatory
Authority, the New York State Attorney General, Attorney Grievance Committees, and various other federal
and state authorities. Those matters have involved allegations of securities fraud, banking and other
financial fraud, auditor misconduct, attorney misconduct, insider trading, market manipulation, earnings
management, mismarking of positions, improprieties in the sale of various forms of securities (including
municipal securities, auction rate securities, mortgage-backed securities, digital assets, and derivative
products), mail and wire fraud, FCPA violations, False Claims Act violations, environmental law violations,
antitrust violations, false statements, obstruction of justice, and obstruction of Congress. In her active civil
practice, Helen counsels and represents individuals and entities in matters involving claims of securities
fraud, banking and other financial fraud, RICO violations, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty,
attorney misconduct, and defamation.

Helen has long been recognized as a leader in the legal community by, among others, Chambers USA,
Benchmark Litigation, The Legal 500, and The Best Lawyers In America. Chambers USA has quoted sources
describing Helen as “absolutely amazing,” “one of the most careful, tenacious, and strategic lawyers I have

Prior to joining LSW in 1993, Helen served for more than seven years as an Assistant United States Attorney
in the Southern District of New York, including as Chief Appellate Attorney and First Deputy Chief of the
Criminal Division.
