2020 has been a challenging year for all of us.
Who would have thought at the start of the year that a global
pandemic would have curtailed our daily routines, work
commitments, family life, leisure interests, holidays and social
interactions.
It has probably made many of us re-assess ourselves and
reconsider how we treat others, but it has also probably made
many of us now appreciate what we do have but have always
taken for granted.
Going for a walk in 2020 became an adventure and a chance to
discover the area that you live in. Not my normal choice of
exercise, but it soon became my only exercise as lockdown began.
My wanderings over the last few months have made me value my
health and wellbeing, but made me also recognise the full worth
of living in a village.
The autumnal colours in the following photographs only enhance
the look of the wee village I live in.
