                 FL Lady Bug Stakes-RG3
ALLIEKAT DYNASTY
Aby Tracy Gantz
lliekat Dynasty has improved from the gate since
her racing debut March 9 at Remington Park. She broke slowly and slipped a bit in the slop, but in the $76,000 FL Lady Bug Stakes-RG3 on May 27, she got away well and scored her first stakes victory.
Jockey Roman Cruz has ridden Alliekat Dynasty throughout and was pleasantly surprised with her alacrity when the gate opened. She dueled with Where Is Camila and won the 350-yard event by a neck in :17.693. Jesus Ruiz trains Allikat Dynasty for Anita Ruiz’s Arrowhead Racing. The filly debuted for owner Hank Howe. Allikat Dynasty then began racing for Arrowhead, breaking her maiden in
her second start and then winning a trial for the Heritage Place Futurity.
Jahree Standridge bred Alliekat Dynasty in Oklahoma from his homebred stakes-winning
mare Pollitical Scorpion. The mare, a full sister to Champion Admiral Sting, has produced five winners in six starters, including graded stakes winner Relentless Scorpion.
Edwin Escobedo rode Where Is Camila (Flying Cowboy 123-Symbol Of Faith) to second for trainer Robi Meche and owner Eliseo Rodriguez Jr. Where Is Camila broke her maiden in her last previous start.
Double A Ranch’s homebred She Looks Political (Apollitical Jess-She Looks Racy) finished third under jockey L. S. Martinez. Jorge Gonzalez trains the filly, who now has four thirds in as many starts, including in the Remington Park Juvenile Stakes.
Completing the field were Countess Tres Seis (Tres Seis-Check Out This Queen), Acapulco Bay (Apollitical Jes-Aqua Girl), Silver Dakota Moon (Seperate Interest-Cartel Dakota), MH Tres Bird (Tres Seis-Painted Laico Bird), Vintage Candy (Jess Good Candy-Turnin Back Time), My Valentine Chic (A Dashing Valentine-Go Paloma Go TB), and Shaundas Hero (Valiant Hero-First Prize Shaunda).

Jby John Moorehouse
ess A Rednec Cowboy wrangled his first career
stakes victory on May 27, scoring a surprise win in the $74,750 Easy Jet Stakes-RG3 at Remington Park.
Trained by Jason Olmstead, the gelding broke well from the 7 gate and was running a close third going into the stretch behind leader JT Im That Boy and Follies Rave. Urged on by jockey Ramiro Garcia, Jess A Rednec Cowboy dug in his heels and battled to the front, reaching the finish line first by a neck.
The 350-yard trip took :17.674, registering an 89 speed index. The $42,450 payday improved Jess A Rednec Cowboy’s total earnings to $60,472.
Brenda Reiswig home-bred the two-year-old gelding, who logged his second win in three outs. This was his second chance in stakes company; he also ran in April’s Remington Park Juvenile, finishing fourth.
Reiswig bred Jess A Rednec Cowboy out of unraced Valiant Red Vixen. She has produced four winners from seven starters, including top earner Dominate This, who finished second in the West Texas Derby-G3, Rocky Mountain Derby and AQRA President’s Fall Futurity. Jess A Rednec Cowboy is her first stakes winner.
JT Im That Boy (TF Im That Guy-Sweet Chico) finished second by a head for owner Juanita Tyer and trainer Jeffrey Tyer. Roman Cruz had the riding assignment. Follies Rave (Dash To Follies-The Rave) finished third place, now hitting the board in each of his four outs to date. The colt is owned by Double A Ranch, Inc., trained by Jorge Gonzalez, and had Salvador Martinez in the irons.
The remaining order of finish was Three Separate Sixes (Tres Seis-Leverage Separatist), Hamlyn (Hes Relentless-Itea), Quannah (KVN Corona-Curl Girl), Highest Alibi (Highest Fire-One Sweet Alibi), KVN Is Sweet (KVN Corona-Perry Sweetheart), and Lucky Luke (Coronado Cartel- Bling Dynasty). RGS GOLD WAGON
Rby John Moorhouse
GS Gold Wagon rolled to his fifth career victory
and second in stakes company, prevailing in the $54,750 Jack Brooks Stakes-RG3 on May 27 at Remington Park.
Mauricio Garza owns RGS Gold Wagon, a three- year-old gelding who was making his 15th career out. RGS Gold Wagon competed in four graded stakes as a two-year-old, capped by a win in the EVD Futurity-G3 at Evangeline Downs last December. The $30,450 payday from the Jack Brooks Stakes pushed his total earnings over the quarter-million milestone to $266,474.
Steven Jordan trains RGS Gold Wagon, who broke on top from the No. 3 hole and never looked back. The sophomore gelding led by a 1/2-length going into the stretch and held on to win by that same margin, finishing his 350-yard trip in :17.394 for a 97 speed index. That made for a nice bounce back performance after finishing a distant eighth in the Remington Park Derby-G1. Cordarelton Benn rode RGS Gold Wagon to victory.
Roy Garza bred RGS Gold Wagon out of Ja Gols Debutante, a 2012 mare.
Detours (Hes Relentless-Carters Signature) finished second by a neck for Zack Stinebaugh and LC3 Cattle Company. The runner-up in last month’s Remington Park Derby, Detours is trained by John Stinebaugh, who recently tallied his 1,000th career Quarter Horse win, and had Jesus Salazar in the
irons. Rock On (First Moonflash-Kitty D Ville), a 17-1 underdog, placed third for Richard Joneson. The Clinton Crawford trainee had Roman Cruz aboard. Followed by Kool N Foxy (One Famous Eagle-Kool Fire), Mitey Like A Rose (FDD Dynasty-Cartel Rosie), Racys Pilot (Paint My Pilot-She Looks Racy), Wasting Light (The Marfa Lights-Foo Who), Paige (Tempting Dash-Transaxle), and Nunothat (Hes Relentless-Fast Prize Zoom).
