Q: If you could sit down and visit with anyone, past or present, who would it be?
A: I grew up thinking the Soviets knew they were the bad guys and were just putting on
a show for the world. I’d like to know from Nikita Khrushchev what they really thought.
Q: What drink would your friends describe you as, and why?
A: A Margarita. Slightly salty with a kick.
Q: Who’s your favorite athlete of all time, and why?
A: Probably Mickey Mantle. Great talent, numerous achievements, overcame constant physical problems, and was always there when the party started.
Q: If you were making a movie about yourself, who would you cast to play you, and why?
A: Daniel Day-Lewis because he is the greatest actor of our time. If he can play Lincoln, he can surely play me.
Q: What’s one thing you don’t like about Quarter Horse racing?
A: Lack of overnight race opportunities with decent purses for non stakes horses. Thoroughbreds can make a good living that way. Other than state bred races, most Quarter Horses cannot.
Q: What’s one thing you like about Quarter Horse racing?
A: Still a chance for the little guy to reach the top rung of the ladder.
