Had To Be Ivory won his first six races in a row. He then had another four-race win streak and now a three-race streak with his latest victory coming
in the 400-yard $32,356 Ontario Bred Maturity held at Ajax Downs on Sept. 29.
Had To Be Ivory stepped away from the 4-post and received the second call under Cory Spataro. They were in front within a couple of jumps and held the lead for the rest of the contest, crossing the line a neck in front and stopping the clock in :20.090 for a 94 speed index.
The gelding earned the first place check worth $14,380, which ups his total bankroll to $212,750, and his race record stands at sixteen wins out of 21 races. Had To Be Ivory was won eight stakes events in his career and was the 2018 and 2019 AQHA Canadian Champion.

Two-time stakes winner Shes Sizzling (Sizzling Cartel-Shenandoah Special) was in third place under Helen Vanek for owners Joyce and Erik Lehtinen and trainer Erik Lehtinen.
