In addition to Brazilian Dasher, Fishers Dash is also the sire of:
State Juvenile, and Captain BD, winner of
the Indiana Grand QHRAI Derby. The fifth ROM earner out of Brazilian Dasher foaled
in 2013 and was Apollitical Dasher, a stakes finalist in four stakes races including the Las Damas Handicap-G3. Her sixth ROM was Apollitical Tradition, foaled in 2014 - the last year Brazilian Dasher produced a foal. It must be noted that five of these six were sired by Apollitical Jess by Mr Jess Perry and the sixth was sired by Captain Courage by Mr Jess Perry.
Now that we have seen a preliminary look at the produce of these two mares and their sons, let’s look at their tail female line. The history of these two mares begins in Brazil with the late Jose Nelson Fakri, a horseman who rose to prominence in his home country as a breeder who extended that prominence to racing in the United States. Fakri brought his first Quarter Horse to Brazil in the 1980’s with a horse named Rumbull Along, reported to be a good halter horse. But when we see his pedigree, you see racing bloodlines and you get the feeling that Fakri may have had
a long-standing interest in racing Quarter Horses. Rumbull Along has a racing pedigree as his sire was Bullwinkle, a son of Johnny Bull by Spotted Bull. The dam of Bullwinkle was Hylita by Hysition, and Hylita was out of Murl L. Hysition was the sire of mares
like Black Easter Bunny, the matriarch of
the Spencer Childers-bred running Quarter Horses that produced the World Champion Be A Bono. Murl L was the dam of the World Champion Mr Bar None.
Sweet Daddy was the next horse that Fakri brought to Brazil, and he was a well-known racehorse in the USA before going to Brazil. He had 71 starts with 22 wins, 15 seconds and 14 thirds. He won $84,021 with four stakes wins in the 1975 California State Fair Championship, 1976 San Mateo Speed Handicap, 1977 Pacific Coast QHRA Handicap and 1981 PCQHRA Invitational Handicap.

Governor’s Cup Futurity-G1 and a third in the Governor’s Cup Derby-G1. He was a trial winner in his All American Futurity trial, and he finished fourth in the All American Futurity-G1.
Fishers Dash is the sire of 570 starters
with 421 ROM and 26 stakes winners that earned $11,856,850. His leading money earner is Dashing Knud, the 2000 Champion Two-Year-Old Gelding. He is also the sire of Hardly Hateful, the 2004 Champion Two- Year-Old Filly. Fishers Dash is the broodmare sire of 550 starters with 362 ROM and 29 stakes winners. His leading money earner here is Apollitical Blood. Fishers Dash is also the broodmare sire of: One Proud Eagle, by One Famous Eagle by Mr Jess Perry, a multiple stakes winner of $338,929 including the 2016 Robert Adair Kindergarten Futurity-G3;
and Apollitical Ok, by Apollitical Jess, earner of $294,408 as a multiple stakes finalist
and winner of the 2017 Mr Jet Moore Handicap-G2. A third stakes winner on
his record as a broodmare sire is Takiana Romanova B, by FDD Dynasty, who won the 2014 Hobbs America Futurity-G2. Apollitical
Ok and Takiana Romanova B are out of Taka Puna by Fishers Dash.
The sire of Fishers Dash is First Down Dash, an AQHA World Champion and the all-time leading sire of money earners of over $89 million. His leading money earner is Ocean Runaway, earner of $1,642,498 and the winner of six stakes races including the 2005 Champion of Champions-G1. Ocean Runaway was the 2004 Champion Two Year Old and Champion Two-Year-Old Colt, and the 2005 Champion Three-Year-Old Colt. The dam of Fishers Dash is Fishers Favorite, a daughter of Beduino, who is out of the blue hen mare Ought To Go by Go Man Go. She is an AQHA Dam of Distinction.
Brazilian Dasher is the dam of only
10 foals with nine starters, six ROM and four stakes winners. Her first two foals
