What’s better than winning a major award? Doing it again, of course. Remember Me Rose is the Speedhorse 2021 Broodmare of the Year. It’s an accolade she also won in 2019.
Currently owned by the Burns Ranch, Remember Me Rose (Corona Cartel-Im
Moonlighting, Zevi TB) was bred by MLA International Company in Oklahoma.
There were 20 contenders for this year’s award. Remember Me Rose showed balance by finishing first or second in three of the four categories used to determine the broodmare honor.
Shez Jess Toxic finished a close second as the dam of 2021 AQHA World Champion Danjer and the number 1 leading dam in the category of total stakes wins. Crazy Down Corona, Lil Famous Dash, Savin Grace, Tres Veses and Sinuous—the 2020 Broodmare of the Year—also finished as top
