Lil Hero APHA (Little PYC-Memories Of Texas) had the most earnings going into the Speedhore Graham Paint & Appaloosa Derby with over $130,000 banked. He made a good bid for the wire, but finished second for own- ers Levings Racing LLC. The R.L. Robinson trainee had Agustin Silva aboard.
Keener also trains multiple Grade 1 stakes placed winner Cap Attack APHA (Capo De Capi QH-Takin On Judy), a 17-1 longshot that placed third for Planefun LLC. Rolando Raudales did the riding.
Live Moonshine APHA (CRM Livewire- PRP Sedona Sunset), RP Live Wire Dash APHA (CRM Livewire-RP Miss Reckess Dash QH), Admiral Tom ApHC (Red Storm Cat QH-Eyesa Knockout), Son Of A Grip APHA (Iteska Boy-Girls Got Grip), Leonard B APHA (Bogus-Signofthingstocome), Ballesteros APHA (The Dashing Hero- Valdarama) and I R Cricket APHA (Eyesa Target QH-She R Painted) rounded out the order of finish. Gogo Maserati and Lota White Sox were scratched at the gate.
