Heza Fancy PYC (Im A Fancy PYC QH-Sexy Senorita) won his trial heat by a head after his rider lost his whip and came into the finals with the seventh fastest quali- fying position. In the Oklahoma Paint & Appaloosa Futurity finals, the gelding broke from the 10-post on the lead and ran straight and true. He was just a bit short at the finish line, but the $27,788 second place money was a good thing. The colt’s team includes owner Charles Leggett and trainer Eddie Willis. Jimmy Brooks was in the irons.
Babe Wired (CRM Livewire-Biker Babe) ran second in her trial heat by a head to second place finisher Heza Fancy PYC. Babe Wired squeaked into the finals with the tenth fastest qualifying position. She stepped up her game in the finals, breaking out of the gates fast and holding her own to the wire. She pocketed third place money for own-
ers Dan and Kaye Jones and trainer Matt Whitekiller. Eugenio Navarrete Jr. had the riding assignment.
CL Victorias Secret (SF Royal Quick Flash- Corona Lace) finished in fourth place and was followed by PHQ Apollitical Jess (Apollitical Jess QH-PHQ Princes Stef), Charlie Rising (CRM Livewire-Rare Wine) Southern
Electric (CRM Livewire-Ze Southern Girl QH), Bodacious Ben (Bodacious Dash QH-Snowdacious), Twisted Fashion (CRM Livewire-Ima Fashionista QH) and JS Kool Hand Luke (Kool Wagon QH-Linda Lajolla). All of the qualifiers to the race were Paints.
